I actually liked that movie, and I'm not usually into those kind of movies. I like the way it looks like he's standing in moonlight.
Aubrey (Nov 6, 2004)
Very cool job, the pose is great. I liked the movie but it's kind of a downer when it gets to the part where he died in the making of it.

Whoah. That's fantastic. Were it antialiased I would think it was done in Illustrator. Must be tough to get it to look right in Lascaux.

Reminder
Turtlebuster (edited Oct 26, 2004)
Graphic art like paint pencil work have been in style since the renaissance. A generally common goal for artists was to create a piece that was as close to 'real' as possible. It wasn't until artists like picasso and vango that realism ceased to be so important. After all... with the invention of cameras, what was the point in making something appear as if it were 'real' when all that had to be done was point a camera and shoot if the desired quality was 'real'? So varitions became available: s...

Who says that love between a giant grasshopper and a robot can't exists? [besides republicans]

LOL! Crazy idea and great job on the characters. It's a good thing he fell for a grasshopper and not a praying mantis or he'd have really lost his head.
davincipoppalag (Oct 27, 2004)
I don't blame him. That grasshopper has such beautiful eyes... she does look a little "jumpy" though...
DinoFlorist (Oct 29, 2004)

Basically, use different styles (unusual to your standard techniques if u have a 'norm') and make the image your own. I thought of this when i browsed through the beginner's board and saw a lot of neat stuff. So, if this forum gets more tha...

No suggestions, just was not aware of that condition. It makes sense though. I don't see any point in changing it. If the drawings were kept to a minimum, maybe they could be done in basic. What's the limit there?
