Im going to a portrait painting course today and its been like over six months since i drew anything and almost 3 years since i painted anything with oils.. so i came back here to brush up on my skills :P

Wow, this is an amazing drawing. She has one hell of a body that is for sure!!! Love everything about this, especially the tilt of the pelvis as Teapot mentioned. Enjoy your class!! I'm sure you will amaze everyone in your class.

somehow it looks really cute to me.. even with that strange looking beak and mouth.. if you would draw a bigger highlight on its eye, i think it would look a lot better, but dont do a pure white highlight but one that is a bit transparent.. Anyway it looks cool. Thumb up from me :)

Collab I've started with mooks. As you can see I've got carried away and done far too much of the work. This is due to mooks being lazy and having homework to do from school. I hope she can find it in her heart to forgive me.

Manually painted glow(not using heal or burn) takes practice in my opinion. The basic rule is to have very saturated colors for the transitions. Which isn't the case now on the water surface as you just put some soft white strokes on top of it.
