It's kinda like marbling paper, fun but you have to let go of having total control. I still have never gotten anything that looks like the stuff Mudbutt does. I think it has to do with the dodge tool. But it's also kind of cool to see how varied the results are from different users. Pun intended. Wish I could combine Lascaux and Chibi. Now that would be fun.

you use the other side of the brain? you mean, just take a picture, and view it very objectively, minus any meaning to the picture? your brain just photographs it literally?

It results in forcing you to see more accurately what you're looking at rather than drawing a preconceived notion of what something looks like. Everyone does that unconsciously. Thanks, Dave. It is a very sort of meditative activity once you figure out how the tools work. (which, I haven't!) Very different from doing representational work or portraiture.

Should I answer you twice, Lori? lol I was thinking about Jacob's coat of many colours and then my mind just sort of ran off with the word Jacob. Yeah, it made me think of some of those beautiful pieces Donna used to do, too. I wish she would do some more.
