Poor cardinal, eating frozen berries in winter. They're such beautiful birds. We used to have a pair nesting by our house in Ottawa. The male liked to stand on the peak of the house and tell everybody what a big, tough guy he was.

I just saw a Jay when I was out walking the dogs this morning. First one I've seen in ages. Surprised to see it this time of year. I thought they went south for the winter. |

Nice dumper. Hey let me ask you Karl, what operating system are you using, what browser and version of browser are you using and what version of java are you running? Inquisitive people want to know and perhaps they might be able to replicate these things and draw here once again.

mac os x 10.7.5, safari 6.1.5, java se 6. here is a link on turning back java from 7 to se6, i had to do this in order for it to work on my computer…here it is

Uninstalled Java 67 and replaced it with version17. I still have to jump through hoops to get the program open but at least now I can get it open. Doesn't always save the latest version though. I guess that's what it means by unstable.
