My Great Grandfather Hanson immigrated from Norway. The woman in the picture and her story are fictitious but there really were Vikings and belief in the mythological Gods Odin, Thor, and Frey. I imagine that I could be a descendent from a viking village where the people beleive in the Gods of mythology. My great, great, great, great Grandmother would have been a woman of strong earth magic, being earth born, but legend is that Odin, the God of warriors, battle, wisdom, and poetry was her father. Being poetic herself, she loved to walk through the hillside and listen to the songs of nature and creation. She struggled with her heart often. She loved her people but longed for a more peaceful existence.

What a neat little story. :)... and I like your picture very much - the way you did the contrast and the shadows make it look 3 dimensional.

Bubble invasion is a perfect name. I just love the concept and the colors chosen in the background to make them pop. (well not literally :D)

shading and highlights are great! hard to draw, even harder to stand like that for longer than 1 micro second...lol !
