Hi, long time no see. Sorry I haven't been on the boards lately, I haven't had much time. I did manage to do an oil painting. A lot of stuff is rather off but I haven't done an oil painting in 3 years. The style of it is inspired by Mucha and Klimt and it's 12"x"24. If it was titled "Genie" when i started on this it would look completely different.I was thinking of a waterfall when i was drawing this. It still has a waterfall feel to it. The title "Genie" just doesn’t feel right to me.

i like this. while its kinda crude technique-wise , you definately captured the emotion/action going on here. which, even when copying straight from a ref is difficult at times.

Hey, look at it this way, things that were in style 20+ years ago are coming back into style. If you look at it that way dressing like an "old" man is fashionable, right? Now if you have fond memories of riding around on dinosaurs as a kid, then your old.

Hard perspective to do. I hope you go back and put in a background, even just a subtle color and a foreground too because they seem a little lost in the frame. It is an amazing piece though.

Fuck PopEyes!!!!!!!!They said they were out of chicken!!!!!! Fuck that, if they are out of chicken why the fuck are they still open!!!!!! I asked them what they had left. They told me they had a few chicken strips, Biscuits, & Sea food. I told them chicken strips were made of chicken. They didn't like that. So I said fuck that and went to Micky D's And I got 15 hamburgers. Fuck PopEyes!!!!!!!! |
