Ok, first, you need to spend more time on your pics, second please put more effort into them. I know this is unfinished so you can do a better job on this but if your just here to sketch I recommend another Oekaki.

Truffle, I'd suggest you start off with Lascaux Sketch before moving on to Oekaki Shi-Painter.
I'm still starting with Lascaux, and still think that Oekaki Shi-Painter is a little advanced for me.
Try Lascaux once or twice, and maybe you can get a hang of it before starting Oekaki again.
Keep in mind that this is what I'd suggest, that doesn't mean you MUST start off with Lascaux.
But, Lascaux is recommended for beginners such as you and me.

Mwahaha. ^_^ This piece made me chuckle a bit. I absolutely adore how I drew the sock. I'm getting better, eh? *_* I'm seriously in a trance of how well I drew this time! I'm happy and content with this peice. Better than my first one, I'm sure.
