Now if someone can tell me how to set fonts in Oekaki I'll be a happy woman.

Are you talking about PaintBBS? Heck, I really don't understand the font tool in that program at all. I guess that's why I keep coming back to the 2draw board- even though I play around on a few others Oekakis, this is my very favorite one on the net. Lascaux just seems so much more refined and easy to use than the other programs- it's made me spoiled.

Used to do that myself as a kid Deathnote now I'm too chicken, but I love watching storms.

I can hear the guy who plays the Cowardly Lion now, "It's a twitsah, it's a twistah." Love the whole effect from the twistah to the tree.

I like the cloud tops...but the lightning needs more "oompf"..the burn tool is good for that kind of thing...and the sky in the area below the clouds..would be that.."greenish-gray" looking ominous color.. It's a good picture...take a look at a couple of the twister pictures DeadlyBlondeArcher did......

Thanks for the "expert" advise david ;) I'll check DBA's drawings for sure! I think if I was looking at a reference when I drew this, I would have gotten more "oompf" in the whole thing but I was just drawing out of the blue....or gray if you want to look at it that way LOL.

The idea is really cool, and colors fit reallly well together, but still stands out from each other enough so that we can see everything clearly. It's so hard to pick colors like that (for me, at least)

As for the hand, I was thinking it was too big also although I was thinking it was more too fat than too long, but I'm the noob :P. It was probably a result of me failing at perspective/foreshortening (her left upper arm/shoulder shows a bit of the same mistakes). If you were to look at a hand in that pose with its fingers pointing mostly towards your eyes, the fingers that you see would be more of a similar length, and fairly short. Keeping the hand in the same pose but looking at it from the side, the fingers are differing lengths and shapes .. but for the angle in the picture, it would be from the front, so the fingers should indeed be shorter..
