Blend is your friend, used wisely it can take the sketchiness away. Soften the whales tail and help with depth. Also look at photo's to see how splashes look. It's nice, it just need some cleanin up. Blend is always you friend.

Contest Week 65: Specialty Tools*two week contest Your goal these next two weeks are to take advantage of all the specialty tools that come with Shi, Lascaux and even PaintBBS, and use them in unique and interesting ways. Whether it's the Textures's, E Pen, Rotate/Flip, or other tools in Shi, or the Intensity/Diffusion bars, Mixing Modes, and Layer Modes in Lascaux. OOOO, cool, cool,cool,cool. Space pichers, Love em, and that small intricate little ship. Now if you go back a bit to the stars, make more small clusters, fade some back and add brighter ones you'll get more depth. Love me space pichers. :D

I FINALLY figured out how to make the lines super thin, like MS paint. So now I'm not as hindered! Yay?

Pen tool on it's smallest. But I don't like the pixelated jagged edges it leaves behind. That's why I like using the airbrush then coming back with an erasure. Takes longer but the lines are so smooth.
He is scary lookin' he is. Like how you did the red on the bottom.

Yeah, normally I smooth out the jagged lines, but for some reason I just didn't feel too up to it here... I can't remember why...

Oh Lori, go for it and ask one for Xmas, like Dave said you don't look at the tablet (that would be weird) like a mouse you look at the screen. And although at first it's awkward (my pen felt so heavy in my hand at first and I couldn't figure how to stay within the tablet) I got so used to it I sometimes wonder if I have a battery inside and have to check. You do so wel with a mouse, go the extra mile and ask for a tablet (why should you pay with Xmas round the corner?) I'd cry if my tablet stopped working.

Oh, and nice draw so far. That hair's funky. :)

but...my mum took it back to the store...because I was having a bit of trouble when I first used it and said I didn't want it anymore because I couldn't use it...But I changed my mind when I did this and I said I'll keep it for a few more days and if I improve I'll keep it...But she forgot and she took it back T.T
I hate her...>/ for doing that!!
I'm gonna get another one.
I like tablets ( for the comp lol)

hilarious... I came to your gallery to see what you've been up to and saw this... I have missed so much lately. My daughter now has a kitten... and he busts some pretty funny moves. He keeps me laughing and of course that's the only reason I haven't put a cap in him yet. :D
