Do I need 3-D glasses to see the body part 'pop' out in this painting? :P Is this wood related to my woodcock? Is it an abstract? I'm so confused. But I don't mind because it's wonderful regardless.

Interesting.. but it's probably easier only when you use an upside down ref.I don't see how it's easier drawing from imagination or a straight ref. Btw- I didn't see a face, but a bird in a nest until I read the comments. :)

The whole thing is so nice but the position of her hand, arm and shoulders is really wonderful. It totally captures the sensual delight of smoking. I like the palette, too, especially her hair colour.
