this picture is similar to what i look like because i have long brown hair and bright blue eyes. i would say this is my best picture yet . i hope you all like it .

omg hilary duff? *gag* yea, but you did a pretty good job on this. the only thing is that you should make each part of the picture fit together. on her hair its all blurry lookin, but the rest of her is just regular solid colouring. you shoulda spiced up the rest of her a bit so it'd look better.

I am totally new here, and I am fairly new to computer art... I did this in 5 mins with my mouse, after starting about ten different pieces of crap and erasing them... dono if it's worth submitting but hey, I'm tired and bored and here is my first submission... Sorry if the crapiness bugs anyone.Tips and comments are very very welcome and needed :P

Welcome to the board! It's kinda hard when you're new to it, but after a while it becomes easier. There's a tutorial that can help you with the Lascaux Sketch applet. Unfortunately, I don't have the link right now, but if I find it I'll be sure to give it to you.

I think the lips would look better as a darker grey. And for 10 minutes, I think this came out nicely! The only thing I can see wrong on this picture is like at the bottom of her head; it looks pixelized while everything else is smooth (there's a smooth eraser that will keep things smooth while you're erasing). I hope to see more of your drawings ^_^! |

One of the big reasons I like unicorns is because they can be so different. I bet you think all unicorns are cutesy, sweet, prancing things only little girls like right? WRONGO! That's a load of bull. Unicorns are WAY different. First of is the African unicorn called the Karkkidan. Think rabid bulldozer crossed with a wild bronco. There's a famous story about a fight between a karkkidan and an elephant. The you-know-what ends up goring the elephant's stomach. Secondly, some cultures belive/belived that unicorns symbolized power, chaos, and death. There's a lot more, but you're probaly bored sick already so I'll finish up. The main reason few know of this stuff is because big buisnesses realized that fluffy unicorns could make big bucks from little kids. As we can see today, they were right.

I think it's a VERY good start. Stick with the lascaux applet and there's pretty much nothing you can't do with it.

The hair and the eyes and the whole head in general are damn spiffy. DBA is right, if you get used to Lascaux you can do some amazing things, or so I've seen others do, lol. Great first pic, welcome! :D
