Hi again. Sorry I haven't done anything these past couple months--school starting again knocked me out of my groove. :/ But I'll try to post regularly.

Anyway... This is Echidna from Fire Emblem 6: The Sword of Seals.

Ugh, how do people get their pictures to be so smooth? I swear the watercolor tool mocks me sometimes. :(
But I've learned a great deal from this. Next time will be much better.

Smooth -> Blur tool ^^

No blur tool. Blur will ruin pieces. Try airbrush on med low opacity and build it up. If you want truly smooth pieces Lascaux works better because it has a blend tool built in.

Arado Balanga, from Super Robot Taisen Alpha 2 and 3, and Original Generation 2.

Ah, much better than the last one, don't you think? I'm getting there, though it still looks too messy for my tastes... (though that's mostly because I need to practice shading clothes).

Oh yeah. Happy holidays~

Arklight Blue, from Super Robot Taisen 64. I lied when I said I was going to do more monochrome, yes.
Uh... Knock off about 3 hours off the timer. Had to eat lunch and help my dad assemble some stuff, eheh.

This is my first lineless, and I'm going to learn how to do it if it's the last thing I do. I hate doing lineart--it takes up all my time getting it just right, plus my hand isn't steady at all. Even if I do some trimming the lines still look like crap.
Not ready to jump to the Intermediate board yet... Probably gonna do one more lineless and a monochrome before I jump. This is only the second oekaki I've done, but now I can see how freakishly addicting it is.

Very nice, has a charcoal feel to it, you'll be ready for inter soon enough.
