How about;
...surronded by the darkness into which I had been hurled.
or
...in my unblinking eye the horrors unfurled.
the first one makes more sense but the second hints at a more detailed discription to follow.

I don't know really, this is my first attempt to use the program, so, I guess it's just to see what blood looks like.

to draw blood (oekaki) draw brown and use the burn tool on it. brown turns crimson like blood
