Those things are beautiful, and fun to watch. They have a 12 foot tall glass tank at Norwalk and they have it lit from inside in a dark room..and it's full of these. very relaxing. This is pretty Mizz Elly.

Dave, we have the same type of display at the Atlanta Aquarium.
The lighting is this beautiful purple/blue.
Almost like looking at a lava lamp in a way! Thank you, Mizz-ter Dave =)

Side to side the blade did slide.
Drip Drop goes the blood.
Pouring like tears
from the slits in my wrists

At first it spills out slow
Bead by bead the blood drains out
As I cut it come faster gushing out over my wrists
Like a red waterfall

Each drop stands for another failure
So many drops now
the blood runs free now down over my hands
And drops silently over the white carpet

The carpet represents my life
the blood my failures
now the carpet is truly like my life
Stained with failure that will never disappear

its not my best, i know
but i would like sum comments and advice plz!

From what I know of him I personally think he's more suited to a Rolex, but who am I to say since my favorite watch is a Timex Indiglo thing w/ a leather band that I wear hunting. This is a cool picture, anyway.

of course not.... I also have to wear my hunting boots and my quiver on my back. DUH. Silly old man. :)
(during gun season a pistol holster and a rifle sling might be added, but... still... DUH!!!!) :D OH YEAH, and some OFF. Don't forget the Off, please. :)

edit: I still say go with a Rolex for this guy

Thanks for the comments guys. I just needed to release some tension...just found out that my husbands grandmother and cousin are dying of cancer...it's only been 5 months since my grandfather lost his battle. It just wont leave us alone right now. It really sucks :(

In a 4 foot deep pool in Uncle Joe and Aunt Betty's backyard. With smoky links, hotdogs and hamburgers cookin on the grill, and watermelon after. Then we'd all wait 1 hour so we wouldn't get a cramp and it was the longest hour in the history of time itself. Then I'd become a mermaid, once again.

:D I can totally relate to this. One of my favorite fairy tales... I think it was Grimm's... was the one where the mermaid agreed to give up her fin to be earth-bound, and she had to have feet that felt like swords piercing everytime she took a step in order to be with the man she loved. (Of course he was probably a stupid Prince or something, isn't that the way it goes?) I've always been way faster and stronger and had more endurance in water than on land... I still wish I were a mermaid. This picture made me smile. :D

I bet she was, too. Did anyone else ever get "yelled" out of the bathtub because they were deep in a bubble bath and had turned the washcloth into a mermaid who was in the middle of a major adventure?
