Blending is all in the wrist ;)

...kidding. Just set flow to somthing below 50 and use the biggest line tool. Right click the color in between whatever you just painted and the base in before repeating. Just keep doing that untill it evens out.

Looks peachey keen! The right hand is smaller than the left and the right hand is at bit of a weird angle, other than that cool, cool.

I love cherries, but this one looks like one of those preserved ones on top of the cheap cakes you get at yer local supermarket. It does 'pop out' yes.

Sorry HK, it is a store bought cherry, but in its defence it's an alcohol soaked cherry. ;)

so sexy. the cherry is a little imbalanced looking to the rest of the picture style wise, it's a bit cartoonish, but who cares? i dont! because it doesn't take away from it's awesomeness. wooo.

The texture of that dress is really cool. Looks like one of the ones that is supposed to be really really creased. Nice skin tones too. :)

The way you've used your colour palette in this drawing is excellent, especially in your shadows. Beautiful! The girl; her face, neck, arms and parts of the hand are shaded to give the impression of dimension. That gets lost as the eye moves to the dress...the picture takes on a flat look where the fabric of the dress meets the background. I think a more detailed edge and shading/highlighting on the fabric would integrate it into the dimensional feeling you've gotten at the top of the picture. The hand needs to 'sink into' the fabric of the dress a little so that it looks connected to the body. You've put a lot of work into this and it shows. A little bit more and it will dance right into 'Wow!'. Patience, without reason, is a stupid waste of time. Patience applied with intelligent forethought can mean the difference between mediocrity and excellence. Sometimes. Sweeping generalizations are overrated.

lol reminds me of a few years ago..i went to the coast in june..really lovely sunny day...when i got there it started snowing :s snow in sandals is enough to make anyone a little angry...great draw! weather is weird..
