Still wondering though... are the irises too close together, or the eyes as a whole?

And I can assure you the real thing looks mucho better than Michael Jackson! Though they have been mixed up before... lol

Heh thank you Straw.... Some.... Sin! Well it's okay that people are harsh, I guess you really learn more and faster when people say what they think. Plus, compliments are much more meaningful too when you know people will tell you your draw sucks when it does.

Took me a long time though, for such a tiny draw. 98 minutes for a 243x59 canvas... which means I did 5 pixels every two seconds. Am I slow...?

hi Ruggi, thanks for stopping by my pic and your nice comment! This draw is really good. I don't think slow or fast is the point, just how happy you are with your art. You should be happy with this one, real nice work!

Anywayyyyy.... thank you for stopping by and for your encouraging remarks! I think I like this one best so far... but maybe that's just because I'm a geophysicist, haha.

I really like Willink's 'Magical Realism', but it's pretty hard to copy. I'm not sure if I have enough pixels (or skills!) for this...

Hmmm...I can't revise it anymore because it's too big? Guess I'd better try and draw something more simple! *sigh*

I have never heard of Willink's Magical Realism. I'll have to check it out.

Well it's not really 'his', I think. Probably he was a follower, not the inventor of the style?
Anyway, I do like his apocalyptic sceneries with dark skies and odd lighting!
