Windmill

in Victoria, Texasphoto reference used I have been looking at windmills all my life, but I never realized till painting this how interesting the design really is... it's simplistic, but complicated in a way - really a cool thing. Too bad they are slowly disappearing. (I never would have had the patience to do this in the old Lascaux, the line tool working well makes alot of things possible now)

wonderful piece DBA......I've always loved the windmills in the countryside not far from here. This is nicer than all of them.
