Sadly I missed out on the early years of 2draw. I got told about the site a couple of years before I joined, but a couple of people told me that the people here were all assholes, so I never bothered to join. Just goes to show you cant listen to other peoples opinions, you have to decide for yourself. I got told Axil was an asshole aswell, but I'd have to say he's one of the reasons why I still come here.

I found out from someone at TigernTigress oekaki...I had never heard of 2draw before..when I first got here people were nice for the most part, nothing any worse than I got anywhere else...This is a good place, and I'll continue to stay here for as long as I can...

I was told the same thing as Pile...but when he and Royje were here I felt braver. lol silly me. ;p Time to draw again, Pile. You've been too quiet and it's been too long. Say yes, please. :)

your brushstrokes with the digital brush are very "digital" looking... I often find myself thinking, when I look at your paintings, that if they were actual paint strokes that your paintings would really be quite brilliant. Something about the roundness of the brushstrokes seems like a waste... like the viewer is cheated out of seeing the 'hand' in the work. This could almost be like a debate about digital vs. real painting. I strive when, I paint here, to constantly make those round, digital strokes not look so like they are done with a computer, as if I'm trying to pass my paintings on here as canvas paintings. You dont bother with that and just let yourself be free... hmmm.

This is digital, we don't need to pretend it's not. It's free and forgiving and the only thing you need to live up to is in your head.

..and I believe that if you sat down with a canvas it would come out just as beautiful. Different, because it's real paint, but just as beautiful.

This is lovely. I like the lighting, the pose, the composition, the rock, water and background. The only thing that bothers me is her ankle. I zoomed in to try to make sense of it, but can't. Seems too bumpy. Love the shine on her hair and the wood of the guitar.

So nice to look at this again.
I see that spot Teapot is talking about.....and beautiful finish, Sweetlove.

I could pick out a few faults myself, but for once I'd rather just enjoy the rest of it and stop picking faults with everything all the time.

...and maybe it's a guy with a really round ass. Personally, I don't think the hand looks masculine. The deep creases make it look like an older person's hand while the bum looks pretty plump, fresh n' dewy.
