lol reminds me..''oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree..your ornaments shine temptingly..i like to whack them with my paw, and grab them when they hit the floor..oh christmas tree oh christmas tree..your ornaments shine temptingly'' great draw :) ignore my singing voice it was the cat :P
Anna (Dec 22, 2004)
rofl @ "AnnaShiny" :-) Yay for experimenting! Speaking of animals who misbehave... at my parent's house, someone accidentally left the back door open and the dog, Scar, went inside and completely shredded two of their stockings!!! lol! I was kinda mad too because I had put some stuff in 'em earlier. heheh Oh well... the fond memories, eh?
davincipoppalag (Dec 22, 2004)
Yea..AnnaShiny// It is defined as the level of shine, or "metalness" one achieves. lol That's a great story about the shredded stockings. When we had dogs, we used to put wrapped gifts (like a rawhide chew, or a squeaky toy) under the tree, and they wouild always find them and tear off the paper. It was so cute.
sincity (Dec 22, 2004)
Damned cats! Always messin' with the tree! HA! HA! This brings back the memories of my 2 bruisers. They actually knocked down the tree one year, lucky it was a fake tree. :} Goodon e davi. :}

Inspired by a painting of Diana done by HD Johnson - love his subject matter, but his tones are very muted, and his style is even a bit softer than mine, so I tried to brighten it a little, and changed the composition some

Used a photo as a reference. Trying to do more of the illustrator style (with outlines) rather than painting style.

Another Language
Kenshin (Oct 18, 2004)
I was wondering, does anyone on here want/does/knows quite a lot of another language? I know quite a bit of Japanese, and I was wondering if anybody else knows any languages.

Thank you baby doll :).
Aubrey (Nov 5, 2004)
I agree, the openess of the sky is really great, you did a great job cementing the ground and silhouette and leaving the feeling of air everywhere else. Very cool.
sincity (Nov 7, 2004)
WooHoo! I ussually not partial to many western pics, don't know why, but the colors are really great, good pic.

davincipoppalag (Dec 10, 2004)
The speckle stuff is done using the halftone controls.. I use the bottom one and set it about midrange..then on the first layer is one color and size floodfill, then second layer another color and size..floodfill,, same thing third layer.. then the wreath is on the fourth layer.. thanks all
Rosemary (Dec 10, 2004)

anybody remember these??? lol (I found some the other day that I had in junior high) one of them was Dazz... Brick House ahaaahA
I know there's a tool in here that could have achieved the perfect ovals for this, but I'm no good with it, so... I'll just pretend it's warped if it isn't perfect. Didn't take this long, either, jackin around with stuff
