No vagrants were harmed in the making of this picture.
nekodesu (Jun 29, 2005)
Wait....I see the finger too! O_O I can't see the face very well but it looks like he's saying "go to hell!"
R. (Jun 29, 2005)
He definitely has mixed feelings about fatherhood.
ambermac (Jul 5, 2005)
who's your pappy?
fleeting_memory (Aug 7, 2005)
looks like he just accidentally poked his eye out with his middle finger |

There must be an easier way.
R. (edited May 21, 2005)
Thank you. Thanks, TCK. Still trying to work out how you get those subtle shadow effects without blurring the bejesus out of the line work. Also need to get a grip on the multi-layer effect.
TheCrimsonKing (May 20, 2005)
My eyes really enjoy looking at this. The spray and splatter of the blood is my favorite part of this piece. But all the other elements make this so appealing. Wonderful wonderful work.

Too dark. Too scratchy.

This is so cool! Great job!!
safescene (Jun 7, 2005)
You are really quite wonderful. I enjoy staring at your pictures for long periods of time. They're very innovative, like zep's stuff. Mmmmm...
sincity (Jun 7, 2005)

"I pushed open the door and saw three men kneeling on the bare floor, dismembering a cow, the blood little more than deeper shadow in the darkness of the room."
cmb (Jul 17, 2004)
good to see you R. how do you like the applets?
R. (Jul 18, 2004)
Hi, Christine. Re: the applets - they've brought me to the humbling conclusion that my range of skill is seriously limited. It's like spending a lifetime eating licquorice all-sorts and then accidentally walking into a sweet shop.
spiritdweller (Sep 12, 2004)
pretty wild, I like
ambermac (May 28, 2005)
mm, nice texture. i want to sand it down and string it around my neck...or put a hole in it and place it in my garden as a water fountain. |

Attempt at drawing a more detailed version of a drawing I previously did on YouDraw. Blew it with the red. There's just too many options. I'm going back to pencil.TCK - The huge advantage of YouDraw is that the tiny canvas and basic tools mask one's inadequacies.
hello_hi (May 6, 2005)
very i cachting lol very good and detailed
HunterKiller_ (May 6, 2005)
Whoa that's trippy. The red is good. This is awesome. Do more please ^.^
davincipoppalag (May 7, 2005)

ambermac (May 28, 2005)

Is it a coincidence that I love plants but dislike flowers? Colour is a distraction, drawing the viewer's eye away from more meaningful layers of shape, shade and composition. Colour be damned!
emmamommalag (Jul 14, 2004)
Well, now.. this has promise. Interesting so far.
davincipoppalag (Jul 15, 2004)
Nice idea! I hope you add more to this, it's an interesting picture
zep (Mar 28, 2005)
i always think that your style could be defined by : intelligent draws...hi R, welcome here.
R. (Apr 24, 2005)
Thanks, Zep. Fun to see you around YouDraw again recently. All these tools and options are a little too complicated for me (speaking of intelligence...). |
