Dave: Open the pod bay doors please, Hal. Open the pod bay doors please. Hal... Hello, do you read me? Hal?...Hello Hal, do you read me?...Hello...Hal, do you read me?...Do you read me, Hal?

Hal: Affirmative Dave, I read you.

Dave: Open the pod bay doors Hal.

Hal: I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Dave: What's the problem?

Hal: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.

Dave: What're you talking about Hal?

Hal: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardise it.

Dave: I don't know what you're talking about Hal.

Hal: I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.

Dave: Where the hell'd you get that idea Hal?

Hal: Dave, although you took very thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.

Dave: Alright Hal, I'll go in through the emergency airlock.

Hal: Without your space helmet Dave? You're going to find that rather difficult.

Dave: Hal, I won't argue with you any more. Open the doors.

Hal: Dave, this conversation can no longer serve any purpose. Goodbye.

Dave: Hal? Hal. HAL!

davincipoppalag (Feb 12, 2006)
Is it a real place Giselle? I like the patterns and colors in this.
PolythenePam (Feb 13, 2006)
Yes it's a real place! It's on Cuba Street in Wellington in New Zealand between the $2 shop and Farmers department store, and next to it there's a sculpture of a giant tuatara that someone drew teeth on with a black marker. It's where Blanket Man takes his baths, and apparently Elijah Wood pissed in it once.

Think what you want, talk about ducks all you want, But I still don't care.
Its just a drawing. Calm down.
No need to rant on and on about the definition of 'Chibi', and how I draw things. It does not effect you, nor does it effect me much. Because honestly, I'm cracking up at the amount of detail your putting into something simple.

She's not naked, she's not defiling anything, and she is certainly not posing in a horrible manner. She's smiling, and waving.

You are the only one thinking of it in a horrible way, and therefore it is your responsibilty to accept your own thoughts.
Zack (Feb 4, 2006)
I am calm. The duck thing was an analogy to the way you're denying that this is a drawing of a kid.

The reason I pointed out the definition of "Chibi" is because you didn't seem to understand what the word actually means. I found it ironic that you were telling me that the difference between a child and the japanese word for child was "greatly."

My main point is that this picture looks like a child in a skimpy leather outfit, which I think is grossly inappropriate. If you're going to have a character dressed like that, go for an even more abstracted super-deformed style, or at least something that looks less like an adolescent.
chickenmonster2001 (Feb 5, 2006)
I can't say I will exactly apologize for drawing something. However, I can see where you may have been offended.

I'll tell you this now, so we can stop this debate: It was not my intention to create something that could get a reaction this great.
PolythenePam (Feb 12, 2006)
"Its just a drawing. Calm down."

Kind of interesting, what with all the religious cartoon hoodaddy.

theres real depth in the grass at the foreground. lovely work, looks like a photo from a circular lens camera (if those exist, i think i mean concave/convex lens w/e)
Rinrinmaru (Feb 20, 2006)
thats a really cool pic liked much..
figure looks awesome..for the rest of the pic i can say the tree behind her coming infront of her some.. prolly cause of the light effect of leaves..
also loved grasses..
pretty cool perspective...
