--The Trickery of Kitsune--
There once was a Kitsune that fell in love with a man- and so she took on the form of a human so that she could marry him. As time went by the two of them married and had a child. But the child was not Kitsune nor human! It was a mix between both and had no powers to switch between forms. The husband was of course shocked and so the wife had to finally tell him the truth.. So she took him out to the forests so that nobody could hear them. "I'm a Kitsune," she confessed as she returned to her foxy form. The husband was still shocked, but since he loved his wife so, he forgave her for lying and promissed not to tell of her secret. Eventually though, the people found out about their half kitsune, half human child and thought it to be evil. One night, the wife went out into the forests to collect fire wood and returned to find that her house was set on fire. Her child and husband were both killed. In anger and pain, the kitsune screamed- vowing to seek revenge.. To be continued? *shrug*

Lilith was a character in a comic by Marvel Comics. She was Dracula's oldest daughter- and only child to her mother Zofia. Dracula ended up forcing Zofia and Lilith to leave his castle later on so that he could marry another woman. Zofia later leaves Lilith to the hands of a gyspsy lady Gretchin, then comits suicide. While Lilith is still a child, Dracula ends up killing Gretchin's son, Arni and she vowed to seek revenge. She casts a spell upon Lilith turning her into a vampire.. But not just any normal vampire, she has unique powers; she did not fear holy symbols and she would not be harmed at all in sunlight. She would haunt Dracula until he was killed, and each time she "died," she would take over the body of a woman that hated him and wanted him dead. She also had the powers to transform into a wolf, a bat or mist, could control weather (limited amounts) and could command wolves, bats, and rats.

August 18th- National Homeless Animals Day.

Every year on August 18th, many animal shelters hold events to help out some of the many animals out there that desperately need homes. These are such as; adopt-a-thons, Pet food drives, educational speeches and so on.

Hm, I thought that the grayscale worked pretty well. Em, just so you know, I didn't attempt it to look exactly like the ref. I was trying out a lineart/realism kind of style. I've never done that before, so it was pretty fun! ^^ Enjoy.
