Looks like Nixon to me. It's his famous "Four more years" wave. If he has jowels then you know it's Nixon. Nixon's running mate for the 1968 election was Spiro Agnew. He resigned as V.P. in 1973 and Gerald Ford was nominated to take his place. He resigned under some pretty shady circumstances after a few accusations of tax evasion which he did not try and deny (Nixon should have learned something from him).

No, when I looked up the ref on google (which I can't find now, I've tried) it talked about this guy practicing his entire speech to an empty hall in case Nixon won. |
