i think the "random airbrush spots" are decent shading; (especially on the road) is there a specific shading tool you're supposed to use?

your drawing is cute though.
i dig the 'map of place' :D

I think Mr. Derrick's shading technique may seem subtle but it works very nice with his style. Great picture. <:)

Adobe Photoshop CS help

Hi, I need some help with a technical problem using photoshop CS. I have never used it do any work before, but now I need to use it to color an artwork. I am finally somewhat proficient with layers in Lascaux, but Photoshop is prohibiting me from adding new layers. It is probably something very simple, but I even checked Adobe's help site, and nothing jumped out at me. Here is the problem and specifications: I scanned an image and saved it as a *.TIF file. I can open it in Photoshop and ...

it's probably all that cleavage collapsing her lungs. I don't know why, but this makes me want to say, "it's-a me-a, maaario!"

so yeah. might want to tone down that blush a bit. and use antialias when doing lineart.
