I fell asleep in my armchair watching tv.I've been waiting all day to have a conversation... then in my absence theres all this activity.I used to come here to show off my drawing skills ... but now i come here not so much to show off my drawing skills but to have interesting conversations like these and contemplate life.

This is really an interesting draw......I really like your loose and bold style. I wish I could learn how to draw like this...I think one of my biggest problems is that I concentrate too much on trying to make everything look perfect, and I don't concentrate on the contrasts of color and lights and darks.....how to get things blended and shaded right....that's why I know that I'm not an artist yet.....I still need to learn a lot. I wish I could just "go with the flow", and not concentrate so much. Anyways ...I read what you wrote here axil, and it really makes sense what you said......maybe I can learn a little from it.

You were sorely missed last night dear Flubbles...I think it's not good to be so serious that late at night..as it leads to sleeplessness and a roaming mind...so now i think I'll just go,back to sleep....

I am not sure I enjoyed BMW and Axil's bantor or this draw more. Even having been mia for quite a while, I knew that this extreme perspective would be yours Axil. Your draws are always so interesting to look at, not only for the skill you exude but the pleasing picture you create. Thanks for lighting my day again with your art.

This is "Ms Blubberbutt".......she escaped from my neighbor's dirty bathroom, and climbed over the fence.....into my yard.....I found her in my flower garden, sitting in my birdbath....so I threw a rope around her, and "hog-tied" her....and dragged her fat butt out of the birdbath, and threw her over the fence, back in my neighbor's yard, where she belongs...."lol".....my neighbor keeps her hidden away in a dirty bathroom, and she does look exactly like this.....hahahaaa!!! :D I'm gonna go ahead and "post" this as "finished".....I'm just too tired of this pic to work on it anymore, and I need to get it out of my "unfinished" draws, so I can work on doing another pic.....:) I can always go back and do more to it later.

Sometimes..i like to stand naked in front of my bathroon mirror just like this gal is doing..just to see what is going on you know..see if i can see in myself what others do...and i can tell ya..nothing keeps you humble like looking at yourself naked in the mirror for an hour...

I've thought about doing a brutally honest full frontal self portrait here, but I'm not there yet. I don't think I'm comfortable enough to absolutely not care and just do it.

Hi "Bette".....thank you very much for your nice comment......I appreciate it.....and yes, I know that little toilet will never accomodate her big butt.....if she needs to "take a dump", she'll probably have to use the bathtub...."lol"! "MissDj".....yes....I think she is a "sumo" wrestler....haha! "Bmw"......when I was much younger, I could stand naked in front of a mirror.......but there's "no way" that I would do that now.....my skinny old body wants to stay "covered"....."LOL"! "Axil"....."Puh__leeze".....don't draw a full frontal self portrait here......I wouldn't want to see that....hahahaaa! Thank you all for commenting.....I appreciate your thoughts and opinions....whether they be "good or bad"...."lol"! :)
