I don't like her hair much..had probs with it...had probs with her face too...Not really finished with it but for now...she'll wait. used ref for body/pose, but made her boobs bigger, used another ref for the sunglasses and another for her hair, although that didn't help me much. I embellished on the shine...as you can see =) I enjoyed doing this one! Hope you enjoy looking at it =)

I always know in advance "if", and, "where" I'm gonna burn it and/or dodge it but I typically wait until the last part of the drawing to add my punch. Many times, I admitt, I punch a bit too hard...I think out of sheer excitement for what the tools do, and I end up going over board.

In this case, I have to agree with vlad. about it being excessive on the hair, BUT, I did intend on shinning up her figure with as much punch as I could in order to give her the shinniest golden luster I could get! I wanted a "POW! IN YOUR FACE, WHO TURNED UP THE SUN AND WHERE'S MY SUNGLASSES" shine for this one...=)

I know, Flubbs, that you weren't going out of your way to be an ass and I do appreciate your opinion. The fact that you even said you think I'm talented is inspiring enough. I've worked VERY hard for the last 3 yrs on my digital art because I wanted to produce works like some of the amazing & masterful artists I've seen here do. Honestly I never dreamed 3 yrs ago that I could produce a drawing such as this one or many others I've done here!

So I thank you ALL kindly for your opinions, compliments, encouragements and critiques! U people ROCK!

@flubbles I do other stuff sometimes, like portraits from photographs, (there are a few up on my flickr) but I mostly just like doing cartoons

He was an honor student in 5th grade, boyscouts, soccer...made me proud..
So when he put some posters up in his room the following year of these crazy I.C.P. jagoffs,
(hungry for money and maybe a boy's soul..but, what the hell do they care?)
and nasty music that accompanied the posters came screamin' out of his speakers...I thought, THAT'S GOTTA GO! ...
Aw, but, oh jeez...it's 'only' music after all...what can it hurt?
So, I made the mistake of letting him listen to what he wanted, and let him keep these crazy nasty posters up on his walls...
He was 11, he had started smokin pot.
By 14 he o.d.'d on Crack and heroin...
by 22 he had been to 3 Rehabs, countless counselors, and jail, twice.
At 25, he's on the 'fence' about whether he's ready to 'let go absolutely' and accept the help he knows he needs.
So, I pray....
and hope....
that his story doesn't end like the woman's son I sat next to tonight in my AA meeting.
Her son o. d'd last week and he's buried now.
He was 25.

I wondered if he had listened to I.C.P........

Does I.C.P. music lead to drug and alcohol abuse? Maybe not...
But, could it have made a difference ....maybe...
that's what this drawing is all about....
hoping to make a difference...even for just one.
Don't die to prove me wrong.

thanks...it's pretty wacko, but that's all that came to me after reading the description...his arm erupted out of his left buttock, his leg from his abdomen..and he's got spit even coming out of his ass...yes, that's SALIVA.
