From a picture of my friend heather .She doesn't have my name carved in her head though; that would creep me out. It's not a carving pic so i didn't deal to my name in realism. It's just one of those happy acident things cause it kind of looks like that. |

The brain in the picture is a testament to symbolism, which is why the brain is drawn as spontaneously, and effortlessly. The picture is a comment on the search for personal meaning in art and symbolism. It may not be pretty but that is how symbolism it is. However, 'Her' drawings are the most beautiful thing in the world to her. So yes I think it needed to be said on this board. Giacometti feel to go with the theme ?

I think I now what you mean p3n. The top right corner could look <unfinished> . If i were to add more realism? to the clown it would detracted from the painterly effect<think mannerist> which I was going for. When I add to that <evil to ME> top right corner of abstract <sunshine?> it ruins the figure ground relationship of the black <smoke> (which on is achieving a effect I am satisfied with) which could be hair as well as smoke ( like sideshow bobs hair)So what exactly would I work on? I am intreresed and defiantly up for suggestions =) |

ok >;)Ever see someone on a really nice bright day and focus hard to make out the figure. Your eyes squint from the light and make the backqround really abstracted with parts of it coming at you.
