Edging away from the realism, some cartoons! This looks very unrealistic and it's supposed to. Finally worked out the lighting. Trying to make it look cute, hopefully it worked!

I cannot beleive this pic took less than my last one, in my opininon it looks better, esp. the hair. She looks like a flight attendant with a very deceiving but cute smile. As I said with the other pic Im 11 and I used a mouse so take that in consideration when you comment and blah blah =)

I love this, even if I do say so myself. It´s ok if you don't but it's the best I've ever done. I hate the hair but I love love the nose. This was done with a mouse (don't link me to the car pic drawn with a mouse) and I'm 11 years old so take that into consideration when you comment. Anyways, hope you like it cos I do hehe :)

To Wraith: If you use shi-painter, there's an option that lets you chose textured brushes, like the checkerboard one MelissaMissy used. I can't remember where you find it though, sorry. :(

On shi-painter go to the colour, click it and change it to textures. Pick the texture you want and colour. I did mine with water paint brush (or whatever you call it) so the colour is light. Anyway thank you very much guys, I will change it to 4 fingers later on when I´m not busy. Keep commenting.

We've been learnign proportions at school so I htought I'd practice. It's SO much easier using pencil and paper!I hate the nose and the hair is a mess, I was hoping it'd look braided. I made her face a bit grey becuase she looked so pale. I like my background though. Please help me! Tell me what I can do to make it better...but dont be too harsh (I havent drawn here for months) and dont leave out the good things! But DO tell me how to make it better, please, or just comment on it. Thanks! Melissa!

This looks pretty good! Maybe with some shadow, it would have looked way better. Great draw!

Try not use just use lines for the hair.. and try layers.. if you already haven't.. otherwise nice picture. :)

Please comment. Any further ideas? Please dont comment about proportions as this is a cartoon and cartoons have no limits. I am well aware of the dont use the fill tool but i was really tired...hehe....but still i reckon this is ok.

maybe you shouldnt draw when youre not tired.then you wouldnt have a problem with critque, cuz your art work would be better thought out. to put it nicely.

The reference is Ashley Olsen but it's not her...I just used her to look at what humans look like x3 I cant get rid of the ugly white spaces!!! This isn't Ashley Olsen I will repeat but I just used her as a reference, when she was a youngster, like 12 yrs old. I turn 12 this year! Late in the year though...Happy Easter 2drawers!!!plz dont comment, i hav to finish this.

Uhhh i will be like you....Uhh i'm mellissa i'm a proffesional and you tried to make it look shiny but it doesn't work put a white spot but not the whole thing yeah and the background is boring blahblahblahblahblah!Ha guess you dont like it either!
