Thanks for all the comments. ya damn straight he's an awesome actor.. screw Gandalf.. Gods and Monsters anyone?

i canny seem to find the comment where Artiste reveals her (it is a her isnt it?) tricks of the trade.. something about lines bein used almost exclusively, keeping opacity down (around 100 or so).. being able to control exactly where u wanna draw.. just give it a go. Everyone should try usin lines! :D its mouse compatible which was the main advantage for me
staci (May 5, 2006)

Sweetcell (May 5, 2006)

Don't know but I think the -lightsaber welding beaver- might have the last laugh.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 20, 2006)
Save a tree, eat a paper bag factory... there are plenty of trees. Beavers have to have a home, too.
friend (edited May 21, 2006)
hahahaha. Thanks guys, this was fun to draw! DBA paper doesnt taste as good as beavers :P
Zack (May 21, 2006)

That vest is cute too, well the whole damn painting is cute. I wouldn't have the heart to tell him either.

I was thinking electrical..now you say spring.. I see a strut.Let me be first to say DUH..
staci (May 6, 2006)
shock..absorber. right.

it looks much better at 100 or 50%..its pretty pixelated right now : /
Mal (May 6, 2006)
Thanks for all your comments, I havent actually got all the proportions right Staci :p it doesnt quite look like the ref i had to take out one of the coils on the spring and hope no one would notice lol. Drawing people can be very tricky especially things like hands :-s
I suck at linking
Axil62 (edited May 6, 2006)
I'd say this shock absorber is probably for a softail mountain bike.

Edit: then I check the ref and see it's for a motorbike. Well done. :)

Time it was and what a time it was, it was.
A time of innocence, a time of confindences.
long ago it must be.
I have a photograph, preserve your memories, they're all that's left you.

In so few strokes you manage to evoke an image of depth... I worship your talent and hate that I don't have it... But we must ascend at our own pace.

Stunner Axil.
gerbear (Apr 27, 2006)
needs to be on canvas. Too good to just sit here.
