This is from an old movie that I like starring "Robert DeNiro"......called "Taxi Driver". I'm posting this as "finished".....I don't know what else to add to it. I was experimenting with the texture tools to see if I could make the "pic" look bright and sparkly.....but I've decided not to use "texture".....so I'm not gonna change it....it's gonna stay "dark" and ominous looking. I kinda like it dark anyway.....it "fits" the movie. I can always make changes later....if I feel like it....but for now.....I'm satisfied with it. :)

Hi "Gloworm", and "DaVinci".......Thank you both very much for your nice comments.....I really do appreciate it. I'm glad you like the "pic"......I may try and do more to it, but I don't think there's much more that I can do......unless I brighten it up some, but I kinda like it dark.....Ill have to experiment a little with it, to see what else I can do to it. Yes, I agree "DaVinci"....it was a good movie. I'm a huge "Robert DeNiro" fan....I like all of his movies. Thanks again for your comments....I appreciate it. :)

This "pic" is awesome.....I want to learn how to draw like this....."lol"!! "Gillie".....How do you create such amazing artwork without using any texture tools.....your blending and shading and everything is just perfection.....I wonder if I can ever learn how to do that....Fantastic draw! :)

thanks bunches elly, I am glad you commented alsoFire: your artistry and abilities are all there inside of you and on your pics, it is just behind all of that texture. I only use the texture tools if the subject calls for them, such as a pattern in a cloth. I have used them in an abstract. Or a repetition effect I may want to achieve, such as what you did in your wheat. Your work is so beautiful, it can stand on it's own with out all the "effects" added. Thanks so much for you comments, they mean a lot. |

I just can't get over how "real" those goldfish look.....they look so alive!!! You really did a great job with this draw....and I agree with "MissDj"....the water does look "WET"!!! Beautiful draw!! :)

yes..the idea is great, but how you did it..it's incredible:)I tried to fix the splotchiness in the bg but I just made it worse.. can't see it while I'm using the applet .. but anyway, I've gotta get this out of my studio.
