Last Thursday, there was a big protest near my old high school which had to do with the Westboro Baptist Church (http://www.godhatesfags.com/) and it inspired me to do a little drawing. I can't see how there can really be such close minded people out there, it's sick. Everyone should have equal rights, and love is love. Amazing, so much like a classic oil painting. Such a cute little cherub too :)Okay,this painting is not finished; her butt is too big,now,on the left side,near the angel,and we did it too big; wow,we got carried away with flesh tones,and reflections of the blue set,on the flesh of the thigh; sigh.but,now her butt is too big.(ok,so is mine.)but notice,how this "classic style"painting,has incredible variations of flesh,reflection,and everything,that could be worked out forever.So i wrecked it that way,but this is a picture still "in progress."and a learning picture. NOT finished yet,if it ever is. :)(Too much yellow in the left thigh,and leg now,do it back like color of original body,towards pink,rose,dark reddish, ect.away from organge.)and the right leg is too dark,to make it go back.ugh. shit,how do I fuck it up best??? ha ha. no perfection,forget it, guys : O

Fields' veiny monster!! Heck, Look at 'er eyes !! shes Drunker than Dean Martin,Rodney Dangerfield, and Lindsey Lohan rolled together.. |

I don't see the*connect* w/the title.Nothing masculine 'bout it, strikes me. The swingin' spyder pair? Black WIDOW. Am I right? Then there's those lovely alabaster thighs, and heart-shaped bush. & If One can un-focus a tiny bit...the Garterbelt,with it's,empty stocking straps swinging as a couple of spyders& web, starts to become visible. And THERE, draped loosely around the camera lens, must be her mesh stockings.er, um Very sensual indeed.!It grabbed me I gotta get out more.

Warning: utterly enormous picture (1024x768)To see the full size image, view it individually and set the zoom to 100%. Right now the default zoom on this image is 25%. If your computer has difficulty resizing the image, go to your 2draw control panel, then the section labeled "Effects Settings," and disable the animated zoom feature. Strong enough for a T-shirt, pH balanced for a desktop. edit: I'm calling this finished for the moment in order to free up a slot in my studio. I'll work on it more later.

I agree "classy"...Stately even. hum... But, I too feel there's a certain familiarity about this work. Maybe it is the way the large centered,"golden" colored image, draws the eye directly into the vanishing point on the horizon, at the base of that dramatic "starburst" effect. Now just a cotton pickin'... Perhaps someone less biased than I should also do a side by side comparison of this work and the honored banner flown daily over the 48th state of the Republic. simular? maybe it's just me... nah. |
