I really would have loved to have added some more details and kind of fixed her right eye (our left) a little more but beggers can't be choosey in my case. I was so grateful for getting just the space to get it to this point I wasn't going to hang myself and ask for more. I just have to learn to use my space better somehow. Gonna miss you at the other place! :(

For something this sweet, you shouldn't hessitate to ask for more space. Gosh, I've asked for an upsizings on much less than this :D

Thank you Hunterkiller, dave, lori and momma! To me it still looks unfinished. But this was for me, sort of like the portrait was for Dave. It scared the crap out of me to try it seeing how some other artists can make fur so lifelike. I knew I was not going to be able to succeed in that, but DONE is what I am here. I don't have to guts to even try to fix this or work on it anymore. I guess that is why my stuff never really looks too finished, cause I am a coward. LOL

Thank you Sketcher, you certainly made my night. I have been pretty lazy on drawing lately...I really need to get back into the swing of things and I am definetly out of practice. I really try to put my all into my drawing but sometimes my all isn't good enough.

you must not worry about that, the safest and best way in my opinion to learn is by basing yourself on some pictures or painting. Althought you gotta do what you really like in order to keep the passion awake. Once youve got the enough pics in your head, having copied them, you can then draw basing yourself on your overall knowledge. Of course youll always forget things, but thats why its important to never stop drawing if you want to make a living for it :P other than than , if you ever forget too much stuff, a lil observation piece should get you back on the road. Although i dont think you need these advices since you already seem to have a strong eye for observation

Thanks for the comments, it is a big encourgement for me to keep trying. I have a hard time with the applets after not being here in such along time, but I will get back to where I was and much better. I have my mind set on it. No prob KD, if you need to someone a while back did a Betty Page picture. It's on the showcase page (no pun intended ;D) I think maybe it just needs to be rounder. Do you have a link to the ref?

if i may make a suggestion, i'd say learn what you can from this one and just start a new piece, sometimes you can get stuck on trying to fix something when its easier to start over. Betty has a few key characteristics that make her look the way she does, the shape of her eyes and her thin upper lip, if you want good illustrated reference of her, i'd suggest looking at some of OLIVIA's work, she has done a large volume of pinups of her, and if you want something a little simpler you can check out Dave Stevens.
