DarkCloak (Jun 3, 2006)
Suddenly the blast door buckled and exploded, filling the enterance with smoke and twisted metal. Before the debris had time to settle, Combine soldiers began pouring into the room, their muffled static ridden voices crackled as they shouted to each other.

"Sector seven breech! Flash-Flash-Flash!"

Awesome!! The hair looks groovy. It makes me think that it's animated and the hair is moving slightly back and forth. Nice border.
GOODBYE (Jul 6, 2005)

A sad movie which underlines the misery and despair of war.

Wow, forget my draw, this one rocks..... well, lots of people suffered from that war, sad, but good representation.
davincipoppalag (May 19, 2006)
Great drawing , as usual.
Kraisa (May 20, 2006)
yeah so I hate you...in the good way one artist hates another one cause you are better. You really should make money doing this. I know durring school we read things like "All Quiet on the Western Front" and while I liked it...so many of the other students would have if it had your art to go with it.
Mad_Cow_Disease (May 24, 2006)
wow, i really like this, looks very good. reminds me of Otomo's work in both Steamboy and Metropolis.

Kraisa (May 19, 2006)
So yeah I drew this picture of Mr. Price there thinking I would do this movie...then I finished and realized he was quite a bit older in this...but I still like the movie and its what I wanted to do so there...I used a reference photo I found on the net.
And you can just imagine that he was younger...the camera adds twenty years right?

davincipoppalag (May 19, 2006)
Good job on him ,Kraisa..age difference or not.
Kraisa (May 20, 2006)
Thanks for the kudos from all :)
and yes who doesn't!! Vincent Price is awsome!!! My computer used to laugh like him when ever it got turned off!
(You should all see this movie...it's nice campy horror. And the original House on Haunted Hill...that one actually had me laughing.)

Did this teacher even TAKE lessons? Maybe it's time to teach her how persepective works.
SYTHE (May 19, 2006)
You should have posted this on the forum section. Try checking out "Perspective for the Comic Book Artist", it will clear up any questions that you may have.
Excel_Ichigo (May 20, 2006)
Yeah, I know, I was venting. :P I'll delete it if anyone else wants me to.

Despite all the destruction nature finds a way. This is wonderful. One critique and it's small, the roots of the flower are a little harsh and stick out, but overall I wouldn't mind this hanging on my wall.
fleeting_memory (May 12, 2006)
no there is never hope that flower will shrivle and die from lack of water. Haha sorry just being weird I actually really like the feel of this one-good color choices :)
Kraisa (May 12, 2006)
Thanks for all the comments there.
There's actually this big explanation in my head for this pic involving nuclear holocaust and stuff...and this actually being an image from Mars...contest has me thinkin' all sci-fi-y and creative.

I chose the color for the flower because blue is complimentary to orange! That and I really like blue. :)

Sweetcell I see what you mean ... should have softened the edges a little more...
Sweetcell (May 12, 2006)
I want it as a poster kraisa.

You know what, this would make a great book cover too.

This is just a random picture in which one character is pointing and the other is looking off. The background.. is supposed to be a roof, but I really have no idea what perspective/horizon (etc) are xP. Anyone care to explain where the vanishing point (?) should be o_0;?

That's one great piece of anime. Well done.
Rukia (May 7, 2006)
Every piece of your looks so professional *envy*
Kraisa (May 7, 2006)
oh wow! Thats really good. (thats really what I said when I saw this)
um...vanishing point...

http://www.artyfactory.com/perspective_drawing/perspective_7.htm
Maybe those will help? One is for two point another for three point...
I think the back edge of the building would be conisdered your horizon line....I am a bad explainer and not so good at perspective myself...so maybe the links can help me too.
April94 (May 7, 2006)
