I love it when people are silly and stupid about something supposedly their favorite fandom. Plus it's Marik with a k. No c's. I prefer Malik though...pronounced the same anyways. Nice piccu though, I think you made his eyes just a tad bit too far apart. ^^;

if you convert english to japanese, l sounds are turned into r sounds. japanese has no l sound, so they are often interchanged. I don't know how they decide which to use for the english spelling though... kind of like how krillan from dbz is actually kuririn and such... nice drawing though.

I saw a picture of one of my favorite childhood cartoons and all the girls in it had big hair so i thought it would be nice to base my charector on it with the big hair and make it softer by making her asleep

This is good. The expression on his face definitly looks like hes not amused. I can see it in his eyes too. I'm glad you tryed to add folds in his clothing. The shading could be better, but its a good start. Maybe add more detail in the hair. Hair isn't just one big strand of hair. Add strands of hair by adding darker/lighter lines in the hair. Oh, and as far as a background goes, you should add one next time, because they make drawind a lot more interesting to look at. Nice job, none the less. |
