A simple fix
Axil62 (Mar 26, 2009)
I gotthis in an email. Sounds great! I love this plan!!!! This was an article from the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper on Sunday. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I thought this was the BEST idea..... I think this guy nailed it! ================================================ Dear Mr. President Patriotic retirement: There's about 40 million people over 50 in the work force -pay them $1 million apiece severance with ...

FOOD FIGHT!!! :P
firecracker (Feb 9, 2009)
I guess the reason that I'm not a vegetarian is because I was raised eating meat. I have acquired a taste for meat,,,,and after being this way all of my life...it's hard to just stop eating meat, and learn a whole new way of eating. When you go shopping in a grocery store,,,,you don't see any live animals....you just see slabs of meat, or ground beef, or pieces of chicken. So you don't really think about it....you just buy the packaged meat or produce, and go home and cook it up and eat it. That's why it's so hard to become a vegetarian. But I hope that sonmeday I'll be able to do that. My brother did it.....he's a vegetarian.....and he doesn't miss eating meat at all. Soooo...if he can do it......so can I!! "LOL"!! :)
safescene (Apr 4, 2009)
I really love the direction your art's been taking. Great piece; Picasso-esque, but still very Klox.
backmagicwoman (Apr 4, 2009)
I have no opinion on vegetarianism..eat what you want...
Klox: one of two things happens to me when i see something new from you, be it abstract or realism, bloody gory or even stylish...
1. It inspires me to try and be better...or
2. It makes me feel like I can never be so good so I might as well just stop now while I'm ahead..
more often than not though it's the first one..anyway this one is no exception...you are so versatile..anyway..keep up the good work and keep em' comin..I love to see what comes next...

Contest Week 95: Musical Portraits
Kloxboy (edited Jun 23, 2010)
Contest Week 95: Musical Portraits (10 days) Paint a portrait of a musician in the style of their music. The portrait should be the focal point of your entry but you can draw other elements and symbols around the portrait if you wish, just make sure the "musical expression" is coming through in the portrait itself. You can do this in any style you want, realistic, caricature, abstract, as long as I get a sense of what the musician looks like and what their music sounds like. If the mus...

interesting link, Marcello. Nice draw.

Miss DJ: What's more interesting is the intended "target" didn't seem to "get it".

This is a drawing of a pebble I found in the back yard today. After I found it I named it ass fuck and then I threw it at the neighbors dog and beaned it right in the head.

Maybe you could take a butter knife and pop the quotation mark key off your keyboard for a few days.

Flubbles (Mar 30, 2009)
I thought it was pretty funny.
Kloxboy (Mar 30, 2009)
While the commercial wasn't very accurate, I thought it was funny. That bit about the XTC being made by "college dropouts in dirty bathrooms" was completely baseless and untrue. Even mid-grade MDMA requires access to a lot of expensive, hard to get chemicals, none of which are readily available in the US. Not many people have access to these chemicals, especially not a dropout, who is supposedly "poor and dirty". Also, I hardly expect a wannabe chemist would be able to synthesize MDMA, at least not anything close to the real thing, as well, most of the XTC in the US is made in Europe, specifically Belgium.
