I draw pretty much nothing but women all week, so this was a nice change of pace. I guess its just some random zombie.
Kloxboy (Mar 11, 2007)
That is rather tight. He appears to be of the evil variety. I like the eyes, they pierce through my being and torment the demons that poses my eternal soul...lol not really but yeah, they're cool. :D
kejoco (Mar 23, 2007)
I've seen this somewhere before...great job on it
Sweetcell (Mar 23, 2007)
Reminds me of "Eddie", the trademark character for the rock group Iron Maiden. Ees weeekid.

"Mocha, if your still willing (and I finally understand how this is going) then I still would like to see some fantasy theme."

So I'm working on it now...

So would you like me to add those?
Sweetcell (Feb 3, 2007)
Yes please if your up to it, it'll book the picture together. :)
Mocha_Bean (Feb 3, 2007)
I thought about it Sweetcell and I think that her pose is a bit stiff to look like she's flitting on the tops of trees.. :/

I love your sketches! At some sites you're not allowed to post sketches, which think is nonsens. To me it is more impressive when someone can sketch something believable (< that word looks weird), than when a lot of color is used. Do I make sense?
ranger90039 (Mar 23, 2007)
thanks enjoydotcom

believable (< that word looks weird) "i" before "e" except after "c" :P maybe thats why it looks a little weird.

I enjoy just sketching, there's a lot more freedom to it. my sketch books have pages filled with just faces, arms legs, thumbnails. rarely will i do a finished drawing, unless its for work.
Kloxboy (Mar 23, 2007)
She's never looked so hot. Those eyes and that smile, really cute.
Sweetcell (Mar 23, 2007)
Hope one day you do attempt a fully finished piece here one day. Reminds me of Don Bluth and his type of animation before Disney switched to computer animation.

It looks so simple but is so pretty. Reminds me of this spacial barrier the original Enterprise was forced to pass through by some aliens who took over the ship and turned most of the crew into cubes of salt. (yes, I am a geek)

I meant to add, all you need do is add a small Enterprise and it'd be exactly that. I'll shut up now. ;)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 22, 2007)
Breathtaking (I would say more, but I'm out of breath :)
cmb (Mar 23, 2007)
I love it, galactic barrier, sunset and aurora all melded together!
Miss_DJ (edited Mar 24, 2007)
wow, thanks! Tom likes it, too! (oh my gosh, Sweetcell, I TOTALLY remember that episode...lololol. I have to admit I grew up lovin all that corny stuff! I barely missed an episode!) This DOES look like that!..cool!

That's pretty. I like the warm reflections, very nice.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Mar 22, 2007)
This is so wonderful... I don't know if the perspective is right, I don't really care if it is or not. I love the pink clouds and it makes me dizzy(er). :)
elly (Mar 23, 2007)
Thank you, Klox and DBA. I got the perspective as close as I could. It was a very challenging angle for sure! Glad u like it =)

Betcha his breath smells like Gerber Dutch Apple dessert. I loved that stuff... I would always buy two... one for the baby, one for me. :) So pretty, Lori...I like that I can see the brush strokes. Great painting, here.

People kept walking by and saying it looked like a Grateful Dead poster.

It isn't, I just like roses and psychedelia :P

solve (Mar 20, 2007)
Inspired by http://derekoverfield.deviantart.com/ Plus it ushered in more anatomy practice/study.

A friend on Da pointed out my skeletal work wasent as on apr as the muscle work. Which hit me like a bullet out how true the statement was.
So I kicked myself in the butt to work on the skeletal structure more while lightly continuing muscle. Anyways, Im happy about this. Even with its lil flaws I am seeing the work pay off.

Thanks everyone. I intend to go back later and fix the eyes a bit, if I have time.

I really like this, it's well composed and the pink rocks.
davincipoppalag (Mar 17, 2007)
THis has a vaguely Japanese print feel....I like it for the simplicity.
HunterKiller_ (Mar 17, 2007)
Great piece, it has a sort of dark and grotesque feel to it. That's how I interpret it anyway. =)
YoureToast (Mar 21, 2007)
i'm in love with those colors.
