The beginnings of a gift art for nanito_rei and Jackal of gaia. x3Its their gaian wedding in about 3 days, and I'm too poor to buy a present for both of them, so I'm making a little drawing. Nani's so cute. But I think I need to fix her mouth a bit. =P And..um..ignore the timer. I had to leave for an impromptu dinner among other thngs, and had no time to save =P I haven't spent 6 hours.

And again, not a very accurate timer, I was distracted. =P Some shading done.
I'm still gonna tweak it and add a background, but some critique would be appreciated at this point. Any specific weak spots? I had every intention of fixing this picture up, now that I've had a lot more practice in digital coloring...but I got bored.
And I'm not in the right mood for this particular picutre. [/longstory] |

Done. I tried a neater style than the last one, but I don't like it as much. >.< I think I'll go back to the sketchy way I did blends'.

This is the coolest guy on gaia, blends. Only.. it needs a background. .and I can't figure out blends' favorite color. He's always in black, and that won't work. I need color contrast. >.<

Nice character. I dig the texture on the hat. Are you using layers? I hope so.The white background is fine in my oppinion, maybe throw the hat texture on, but more subtle.

Thanks. Yup, I love layers. So you think I shouls yuse a texture like the hat on the BG? Hmm.. good thought. ^^ Mybe in red or gray....I gave up waiting for blends to pick a fave color, and just used grey. I really like this one for some reason.
