First of all, I'd like to state that in no way, am I intentionally dissing abstract art here if it even sounds like I am. Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with you guys, but yesterday on 20/20, they were showing these abstract paintings being sold for millions of dollars done by these so-called pros. But it got interesting when the host had these random 4 year old girls paint on a canvas and then set their work up next to the 'pro' abstract artists' pieces and see if these educated art...

I felt green like that when I had way too many margaritas before. (I guess tequila made her clothes fall off, too?) lol I think the background you have is perfect for the subject, it doesn't take anything away from her.

Oh wow I love this latest version...Kind of has a warhol flavor to it...yet a very inner psyche type feel as well. Great use of texture...I think also using the simple black and white pallette helps bring about the little touches of red, and conceptual weight. (Haha I don't know if that made sense it all...if not : "I like it".)

thanks Laura again...hey Solve let me say that i´m kinda envy of your way of shading too :)thanks Dawn, those piggys like Sag said, becomes from a joke of a local comic artist here, it involves an stoned guy, a motorcycle, a policeman and a little pig. Oh ...Gray! I'm diggin' it Marcus. The Red eye really stands out against the gray background. I'd almost like to see the lines done in a really dark gray, so he almost emerges from the background, but the eye/hair extremely vivid. The gradation in the hair is nice, as well as the composition. (I haven't seen you do a pure male portrait in a long time.) What's the black dot on his nose? Anyway:hot stuff BEEF CAKE...muwahahaha!
