I usually draw these things with blue ballpoint pen. And no, it's not traced from a stencil.

This is the first time I've worked with color on a computer... I referenced the Gucci Envy Me ad...

for a first painting, that is really not bad at all.... if you use the blend tool on a low opacity (on the flesh and the hair), and then go back and re-define the details, I think you'll be happier with it. My favorite part of this is the eyes.
