Anyone know how I can do the lips better? Also, is 1hr 49 min too long on what I've done so far?

Some take hours and hours..dont worry about the time.. I can't help with Shi-Painter..I use Lascaux but I would make the lips smaller , for one thing..

yeah, the top of the lips are usually much slimmer. Also, ceneter them underneath the nose. Ears need to be bigger too.

You have all of the right ideas, darlin'... Your light source, highlights, shadows are all in perfect placement. Just a little (few years of "warring" with the paint, really) practice will get you where you want to be if you realy want to go there. Keep listening to whomever is instructing you and keep working at it.
