Another lovely sketch. You seem to choose portraits that are like um..."in the moment". Gives it an impromptu, but interesting aspect. :)

I hope you don't mind, I put this up as my desktop wallpaper,it makes a great wallpaper.. and I've been studying it, all the different colors and shapes, and it looks like real paint. The fish is perfecto.

Wraith its only if you stick your tounge out :O but not squishing your lips :) it mostly looks like she is doing a fishy face to me :D witch it looks plainly adorable lol :)

this is cool with the blue light in the eyes... I like her strong facial expression, how you used bold, defined colors to put the lit part of her face into focus. Amazing portrait, really

I keep forgetting that there are still people walking around with that kind of hatred. That's what happens when you live too far out in the country and hang out mostly with dogs. You forget how vile humans can be.

And this one is no exception, came out great and his face expression is priceless for it you capture an outstanding and realistic expression :)

His expression suggests that his attention has been caught by something, and that in turn captures the viewer's attention. Great subject.

Safety save. Got an appt. here soon and wanted to have this somewhat saved :) Saw it in a birds and bloom magazine and couldn't get it out of my head. I LOVE the colors. I did turn the birds head some so far from what the origional looked like and thinking of adding something else in a corner :)

I'd like to know why so many drawing sites favor landscape over portrait orientation for the canvas. If I want to draw a standing figure it has to be so tiny. I never get to put in the sexy footwear. Maybe I'll draw a figure from the shoulders down so I can do the feet.
