I'd like to know why so many drawing sites favor landscape over portrait orientation for the canvas. If I want to draw a standing figure it has to be so tiny. I never get to put in the sexy footwear. Maybe I'll draw a figure from the shoulders down so I can do the feet.

Good work on this, Black Bird.I keep forgetting that there are still people walking around with that kind of hatred. That's what happens when you live too far out in the country and hang out mostly with dogs. You forget how vile humans can be.

Oh wow I can't believe people have such disturbing thinking like the guy from above all of us :/Ignorans will always be ignorants but we will be a fool to follow their lead >:B I love your art my friend and I will always admire the great effort you put on them :D And this one is no exception, came out great and his face expression is priceless for it you capture an outstanding and realistic expression :)

His expression suggests that his attention has been caught by something, and that in turn captures the viewer's attention. Great subject.

This work speaks to something inside of me. There is something craving/possessed, almost sexual with the way the mouth is parted and the hand clawing against the side of the face. I really like the way the hand is done!

It is a powerful piece. I find it disturbing but I'm still not sure why. I agree that there seems to be something sexual about it. I think it's the blindfold and the title that give me that impression. I go back and forth between seeing the hand and the 'red' (blood? raspberry jelly?) as sensual/savoring to seeing it as clawing/fear/insanity. Then I think...is it about a person who is refusing to see something base (violence? greed?) or unwanted in their own nature? Regardless, it's great to be able to produce a piece that draws the viewer in and invites them to give the image an interpretation. Congrats.

Lovely. I'm looking at the sky after reading your question re brightness. The only thing about it that strikes me is the center of the meadow is quite brightly lit so the sky seems dark in that regard. The tones in version 5 seem to work well together. But, having said that, I really like the way you did the sky, like the sun is trying to break through overcast. The colours in this are what it looks like around here...autumn. Good luck learning Lascaux. I still haven't made friends with it after 6 years.

lori- It'd be nice to paint it on a canvas, but it's not something I'd like to see on a wall.. I prefer abstracts for that.Teapot- I like the old feeling the redness gave it, but I realize that I've lost many of the colors from the 5th ver.. and I like Lascaux, but I don't know its tools like sharp/blur/scatter/dodge/burn etc.
