Yes, I try to paint on real canvas, Anna :) I have to do it more often, though.

Thanks for comments all...I did go back and tried to clean it up. I appreciate your help Sweet...it's always welcome..:) And I did get the photo from my computer file. There are a lot of good ref's there.

I did find the pic that you did and it's perfect...exactly like the reference. So much better than mine..but you are a true artist and I am just a struggling want-to-be, so I can use all the help I can get. :)

Gosh, I love your art so much. It's always so interesting, and the way you depict light and shadow is absolutely godly.
I like how even though this is so abstract, it's still easy to tell it's a skull.

Agreed, this is a good piece. There's a lot of pieces on 2draw that could have been showcased but were not (for various reasons). Though, I think most mods stay away from showcasing older pieces, as the showcase is more of a 'reward' or motivator for active members.

Oh, I guess that makes sense. I thought showcase was for, like, "Wow, check this piece out!" And to show the kind if work that is possible with the applets. Are there any specific qualifications for something to get showcased?
