Murr, not much to say. It's Naruto...I didn't draw him with his forehead protector....Yeah. More of a doodle I didn't take seriously I guess. o3o;;

Dear God, this is byfar my shtewpidest sketch I ever made. DDD: Anywhoo, besides the eyes, I think it's okay. I could've done better, but I'm not good with a mouse. >>;; And yes, you can normally see me in a ponytail and a hoodie. xDD Is how I am.

Well, my second picture of Edward Elric, but this time done on Lascaux Sketch. I think that it looks much better, since the colors are more solid. Critisism and comments are very welcome. :33
NOVEMBER93 (edited Aug 16, 2006)
Layers are simple to use. On lascaux, I find it harder to use layers, but that's just me. Layers help you color and add backgrounds and stuff. On shi-painter, I always draw my sketch on Layer 1, lineart on layer 2, color over my sketch back on layer 1, and then if needed, I draw a background on Layer 0

Hmm...You know, that could work! Thank you!! I'm going to try it right now. :3
NOVEMBER93 (Aug 17, 2006)
Glad I could help you.

Hagaren
(Aug 15, 2006)
Well, it's Edward Elric. Hagaren no Renkinjutsushi, or the Fullmetal Alchemist! I'm absolutely in love with the anime and manga series, which inspired me to draw him. :3 Haha, it's actually my first time drawing on the computer and I think it turned out fairly well. Comments and critisism welcome. But please don't be too harsh when critisizing, I'm new. D:

Note that first-timers should go to the beginner board, not the intermediate. Intermediate is for those who get an idea of what to do and such.
Hagaren (Aug 16, 2006)
Okay. Thank you!

Edo-kun is my love :'D I adore him so. And I'm guessing you watch the Japanese one, judging from your name :B GOOD. English one suuucks D: (but, it's "Hagane no Renkinjutsushi", "Hagaren" is just the shortened title)Let's see, well, this is really good for a first try, but here's a few tips: Try to make thinner, smoother lines, and lineart the hair, maybe? Pen tool is good for lineart. Try not to use the airbrush tool for coloring, it tends to look messy. He needs some eyebrows ^__^;; |

Well, I am actually surprised at the results. It turned out better than I thought! X3 I was actually going to draw him with a cloudy background, but then it got too complicated so I stuck with a plain color. I'm actually REALLY happy with how the coloring turned out. :33 Yes, it's a bit messy, but I tried. THANK YOU NOVEMBER93 FOR THE LAYERING ADVICE!~ I really appreciate it. :3
