omg elly, this is stunning. Your pics have a tendency to surprize me. The thumbs don't always look like much, but when I open them they are totally interesting and dynamic. Good one here. I also love the little details you add, like the shooting star....and the back of the moon's purple glow. Love it.

thank you all so much, he was a bit of work. I enjoy birds a lot. Saw my first bright yellow goldfinch a couple of days ago. They some to my feeder all winter long but are olive green until Spring. They are so efferdescent, just lovely. One of them was trying to come through our picture window with no lulck. At least he did not bang into it. When we were out in Willmar, on the lake, they would crash into our very large picture window and often times die, sometimes just get stunned. It would scare the petunias out of me, but I always felt guilty as if I were killing them (our window used as a trap) I guess they see the reflection of the trees and sky etc. and think that it is just normal space and come crashing into it.

Just playing with the texture tools. It didn't take me as many hours as stated.....I "dilly dally" around a lot while I'm drawing...."LOL"!!

It sorta takes me back to the 70's.....the fun days of "hippies", and "peace and love", and psychedelic stuff....like this draw. I had a poster similar to this draw hanging on my wall back then. Fantastic painterly goodness! I prefer the textured bkgd for sure!! This is awesome QT!!voila...gotta love layers, one can do things to an image, turn off that layer and do something else, the votes are in and the black background wins!
