yeah totally great job...you got the mood down for sure. the only small thing i would hve added would be some bolder scratchy like marks on the pane of glass in front of the couple so they look more behind it. but woo for her hair

I'm working on this one now... I thought it was such a cool ref. Just dropped in to say I really like your interpretation of it.

I know I've seen an artist that has a very similar style but I can't think of who. Anyways from the title I'm getting the impression this is a close up of a wall plug but from the picture alone I'm seeing a very tall, thin building that's on fire and has smoke pouring out the top floor window. I'm also very tired and may be seeing things differently.

What an unusually usual subject. The soft warm lighting against the cold metal is a nice mix. I like this.

I hope you do finish . It's an interesting choice of subject matter, and I like it too.

I like the way the body is so fleshy and the head is skull-like. Great contrast.

so what is it Gigge? an elephant, right? I love them, hehe, took a ride on one with my son when he was smaller :D I love the animal shows that they talk about elephants on... how they remember their friends and family, if they're separated or whatever... they can get back together after years and the way they act seems proof that they never forgot each other. so sweet :)... they also mourn their lost ones much the way people do... hehe... we also call my mother elephant ears... she's an avid eavesdropper.

This is beatiful Gigge. The emotional intelligence you can see in an elephant's eye is there. YOu did great.

Lori: Yup, an elephant.. The reference is called "elephant closeup" . ;) I like them. I think their whole social system is amazing, especially the elephant graveyards.
