This is a Pheonix that i'm working on. i've drawn many birds in this position, but they've never been stasfatory. i don't think this one will be either, but it'e worth the effort.edit: finished. not quite as perfect as I would have liked, but that's ok. I'm just practicing with the watercolor brush now. I'm just satisfied.

Photo was used to get the basic idea of the pose. I started with my face about a yard (about a meter) away from the screen, and I don't have perfect vision, so it started kinda lousy. It's finished now though. :)

god, this looks just like one of the birds that was in my dream when I was just having a nap... they were up on the ceiling while I was trying to unclog a drain in an auditorium?? it came out good, perfect wing shape, nice

I'm practicing using pixels and coloring with pixels. Well, I'm submitting it now b/c I'm scared my computer will flip out a quit out of Safari, and if it did that then I would have lots 1hr and 30min's worth of work. And I would have screamed. So yeah. I'm still working on it, but it's almost done.
DONE!
Just practice.

So I'm working on. I would have worked on it more, but my computer started to freak out, and since I don' want safari to close on me, I'm sending now. I'll work on it more soo.

woah that is an intersting technique. it kinda reminds me of that paper stuff where you scratch off the black, and the rainbow pattern shows underneath.

yeah, i guess it's kinda alike. It was actually inspired by some who used a similar technique. thanx for the comment!wow, I really finished this quicker than anticipated. the technique was tough to work with and i'm not sure if i'll do it again, but at least i finally finished something on here!

Heh, i got back to my dorm during my free and I started this ^^;. But I must go now. I started sonething like it in pencil in Bio, but I don't have a scanner in my dorm. I wish i had more time. |

i started this when i was bored. i know, it's horrible. i once made a print that had a running dog on it, so i was trying to draw something like it. it didn't work though, did it? i was having issues with my tablet XD |

I wanted to draw, so i said, "hey, why not a dog?!" and so i drew one. i know this isn't very good, but it was a quick job.
