Note done, but I like this so I wanted to post the sketch before I mess up on the lineart. XD; ::is terrible when it comes to inking smoothly.:: This is my first time on this board, but I've been doing Oekaki for a while. Boogiepop/Touka from Boogiepop Phantom. The title is silly, because the boogiepop manga/books are called "Boogiepop Never Smiles/Laughs", but I'm listening to Garbage, and the lyric seems to fit. I used the cover of "Boogiepop and Others" as a reference a bit. I hate doing line art. D: I see a couple thing I need to change...then I'll color it.

Eeee! It's looking cuuute... one thing, the yellow and blue at the top of the socks seems too bright for the rest of the colours... maybe lighten it up a bit?

Excellent concept for a character. I have to agree about the blue and yellow there: the character has a charming muted look about her in terms of the colors, and the bright blues and yellows draw the eyes too much there. |
