The photo ref I painted this from is from the photographer's private collection, the woman pictured here is his wife. I wanted to paint from his online DA photo gallery and even commented that I intended to do so. Out of the blue he hit me up on MSN regarding his photos and me painting one. He showed me this private photo and suggested I paint it instead. I think it worked out nicely, she has many qualities that look good painted, even digitally. |

I drew it shaved so you could make out the anatomy. Personally, I think they look better with hair. This particular piece is a bit more focused on the clitoris.

yeah, that animation was entertaining.. it's wild how you go about painting your portraits, really shows how talented you are. I kept thinking it was over, but nope! it kept going :) great work here

I keep coming back to look at this. It reminds me of something but I can't figure out what. Have you ever seen any of those really gorgeous old handpainted porcelain tiles, like from the Victorian era? I can see this as a tile or even a mosaic or stained glass piece. Lovely.

Monoprice, procurer of cheap cables and Other Odds and Ends has an 8x6" tablet for $37 (and a 10 x 6.25" for $40). Curious if anyone here has tried them out: I'm a huge fan of my wacom, but the user reviews are surprisingly positive. The specs are pretty good (200 rps, 4000 lpi, 1024 pressure levels), but numbers means nothing if the quality is low...
