this really does look like a cold winter night..Love that tiny little cabin...
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 5, 2007)
I like this painting... I would only make a few "minor" changes... such as... making the moon into the sun, the snow into sand, the cabin into a beach house, the tree into a palm tree.... haha...now, we're in business. :)
LadyBlader (Mar 6, 2007)
0_0 It looks real! Wow! I love it!!
Miss_DJ (Mar 7, 2007)
thanks!! I really like drawing little things. DBA, I'll have to draw a nice 'little' beach scene for you!!

Never in a million years did I expect this to be from you either...he really grabs your attention....
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 5, 2007)
What everyone has said previously is true, but this is still Zep-like around the edges, if I had to pin it to someone, it'd definitely be you. I like it, especially his freckles, they're cute. I like freckles. He's awfully close, if he's pointing at me, he's POKING me. :)
cmb (Mar 6, 2007)
great image zep- he definitley wants to be looked at !
Punky (Mar 9, 2007)

Jumped in the truck and I headed for Kansas
Morning found me in Port Aransas
Sipping on rum
In that warm Texas sun
I've never been good at keeping direction
And I believe schedules are one of life's worst inflections
And I gotta be free
'Cause I'd rather have nothing
Than a whole lot of something I don't need

I'd rather have nothing
Than a whole lot of something
That don't fit the life that I lead
Material things and all that wealth brings
Just must be for some other breed
'Cause life ain't about the worries and doubts
That comes with the lust and the greed
And I'd rather have nothing
than a whole lot of something I don't need

Can I pack myself in a big box and go with you Cindy? BTW, love this painting, it is awesome as all your work is.
Miss_DJ (edited Mar 5, 2007)
cool pic Cindy! what are they waitin for? lol (or do they spy some sweet blonde in a pink bikini?) :o)
friend (edited Mar 5, 2007)
Sweeet!!! Is the bowlegged guy in overalls?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Mar 5, 2007)
Cameo, no, you can't pack yourself in a box. I don't have time to poke holes in it for you. Donna, they are waiting for the sun to rise and since they are on the Texas coast they are probably waiting to see if the surf report was accurate and if there's gonna be enough surf to bother paddling out. :) friend - Yes, but I hope he doesn't try to surf in them, they'll be really heavy and he'll get drownded.

(I do have a pink wetsuit shirt, and some pink board shorts, but it would still be too cold and my teeth would chatter and I don't wanna)

actually it gets lost in the busy background.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 5, 2007)
The only acid I ever used was sulphuric acid, and that was to tan deer hides. This picture gives me a headache. Actually, I already had a headache and I think it's making it worse.
davincipoppalag (Mar 5, 2007)
You 'puter draw at your friend's house when you go to visit?.. lol

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 5, 2007)
Orange is not the "new pink". This kinda reminds me of something staci would do, I like it.
fleeting_memory (Mar 6, 2007)
very nice use of orange-what a wonderful profile-the refernce is weird O_o

Great expression and a creepy face.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Mar 5, 2007)
The maroon makes this guy an aggie. Aggies are cool when they're formulating hybrids for tomatoes and onions and stuff, but if you date an Aggie...he starts out looking cute, and then towards the endof the date, he looks much like Lori's painting, at which time a girl is looking for the nearest exit.:)
davincipoppalag (Mar 4, 2007)
You date pink and maroon guys in texas? ....>>>heads for the nearest exit.... This is very well done...such and exoression

yeah, I like the expression... It's like I'm listening to my favorite song... so leave me alone. >,<
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 4, 2007)
I love this, it's really cool.... although I personally have this aversion to wearing headphones... I like music to "fill the air"... even if no one else is around for hundreds of miles, I like to turn it WAY UP and rock the canyons. :)
woah_pockster (Mar 5, 2007)

This little guy and his brother (who didn't make it.. sob) were blown out of the elm tree in my back yard during the storms last night. My first thought was to drop a big rock on him and walk away (lol) but I didn't.. I pulled an old bird nest out of a bird house in my Greenhouse and put that in a hanging basket and hung it in the tree and waited all day, but nobody came for him. :( This evening I brought him in and fed him boiled coke and egg yolk with an eyedropper until my daughter can ge...
